There’s only one logical way to use 8kms of tape and 3500 people: Tether them in a single-file line to break the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest human centipede.
We are calling on anyone and everyone in the Western Cape to help shatter the record for the world’s largest human centipede, binding themselves together for a short 30 meter “walk-shuffle”. The official attempt is taking place on Sunday, 2 October 2016 at 9:30am. Participants are asked check in (preferably with Jazz HOOC Carnival 2016 tickets) at a demarcated area of the vlei, corner The Row and Windermere Roads, Muizenberg.
The current record is 2,961 people, held from 16 June 2010 in Thailand by the Thai Beverage Marketing Co.Ltd and Have a Good Dream Co.Ltd.
